Roots, Return, and the Weight of Memory is a solo exhibition by Bahamian-American artist and educator Kendra Frorup.

As Interim Director of the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, I organized the exhibition during my tenure. After which, I returned as a curator to assist current CEAM Director Julie Dickover with the installation and curatorial layout, as well as to write the show's accompanying essay.

Frorup's work evokes themes of home, migration, and the balance between leadership and care—ideas central to the exhibition and her ongoing exploration of Caribbean material culture and diasporic identity.
